Race two saw The Loffreda/ Lutter partnership securing the win, but only after some close racing with Russian driver Sergey Shalunov in the Arloid Automation team car. First time out driver Jan Bijsterbosch and co driver Wesley Grogor who had led for the first half of the race. Also new to the grid is Jan Bijsterbosch who this weekend will be racing with Wesley Grogor in their Freshly Foods Radical SR3.
Last weekend the Kazan Ring circuit hosted the 4th stage of the Russian circuit auto racing series. A record number of the LADA Granta Cup cars participated in the Super-Production event.
Alexey Dudukalo wins the Touring, Lev Tolkachev wins the Super-Production.
The start was more successful for the Granta drivers – the pole position holder Mikhail Grachev gave the way for Alexey Dudukalo and Pavel Kalmanovich with no resistance. This was the end of the intrigue in the 1st Touring race: the three leaders finished in the same sequence.
The final stage of RRC and LADA Granta Cup started with a significant delay.
